Doorknob reunited for one night only last night at Norway Brewing Company in Norway. Doorknob’s Derek Cote and Matt Dundas were independently booked for the showcase event at the popular drinking hole, which also features top notch burgers and more. Booker Cory Nicholson didn’t realize what he had done until the show had begun, when, halfway through Mr. Cote’s set, the celebrated guitarist and solo act decided to bring up Matt Dundas early, so they could play a few songs together before Matt did his own solo performance.

Unsurprisingly, the place went insane. Phones came out and not a face was without a smile as Doorknob reunited for what could prove to be the beginning of a reunion (or yet another in a long slog of “final” performances together). Either way, it was 15 minutes of revelry unlike anything Norway has seen in a long time.
